Echoes of Elsewhere

Echoes of Elsewhere examines the relationship between architecture, history and collective memory. Photographed across Amsterdam, Bath, Berlin and London, the series explores how the built environment reflects the changing identities of cities, revealing the histories and transformations that have shaped them.

Moving between historic interiors, architectural details and spaces shaped by change, the series considers how buildings evolve over time. From spaces that retain much of their original character to those transformed through reconstruction and adaptive reuse, the photographs reveal architecture as an ongoing part of urban life rather than a fixed record of the past.

The photographs presented here are a selection from the wider series.
