It’s been over a year now since I traveled to NYC on my own for the first time since I was 9 so I figured it was finally time to talk about my solo trip to New York City!
It is hands-down, my favorite city to travel to alone which completely surprised me.
I remember how nervous I was as I traveled up to the city. I was overwhelmed with anxiety about navigating the Big Apple on my own.
But I’m here to tell you that I absolutely fell in love with New York City all over again on this trip and enjoyed every single moment of my solo travels while I was there.
By the way, staying in an Airbnb is totally the way I recommend traveling (You can get $40 off your first trip when you sign up for free here and start browsing ALL the gorgeous accommodations!)
In this video, I tell you:
1. How I got to NYC.
2. Why New York City is my favorite city for solo travel.
3. What I did, where I stayed, and how I got around the city.

New York City is the city that leaves you feeling as though you can accomplish anything.
It is the city where you feel alive.
Not only is it the city that never sleeps but it’s the city that never judges, never confines, never restricts.
You can be YOU in New York. No questions asked.
Over the years, New York has become part of my soul.
It’s a place that I can retreat to to remember who I am, to remember my strength, to remember my dreams.
If you’ve never been to NYC but have always wanted to go, stop waiting for someone to go with you.
Experience New York City on your own.
Everyone needs to experience the magic of New York City on their own.
