24 Hours in New York City
Travel can be simple. It doesn’t always require months of planning and weeks of time off. I’m here to show you just how much you can see and do in less than a day’s worth of travel if you plan it right. Below, I’m sharing my video of all that I accomplished in 24 hours in New York City.
Now, I’m not saying 24 hours is enough time to truly see all that the Big Apple has to offer because I think we all know the city’s options are endless. You could live there for years and still not see it all! But, I’m hoping this video inspires you to think outside the box a bit when it comes to your future travels.
Start taking more day trips or weekend trips.
Stop putting it off.
Stop saying, “When I have more time…”
Go now. Explore now.
Even if 24 hours is all you have.
New York City is a city of possibilities. Each of us can travel there and have entirely different experiences filled with different activities, weather, food, museums, and photos documenting it all. Find what speaks to you about New York and explore more of that.
I love getting “lost” in the West Village (you can find my favorite spots here). I love finding the greasy dive on the corner to grab a slice and continue walking around. I love the sounds of the city – the incessant car horns that quickly feel like home, the same way crossing the street while cars and taxis whir past you becomes second nature.
New York is in a league of its own.
I’ve spent so much time there since I was a little girl that it now feels like a second home. (Read all about my solo trips to NYC here.) My favorite moments are always the ones I spend strolling the tree-lined streets of Greenwich Village and the inspiring moments spent on Broadway. Oh, that feeling when the house goes dark and the performance begins.
There’s nothing else like it.
There’s nothing else like New York, New York.
